Kira Awards finalists announced The Daily Gleaner (Fredericton) Wednesday, April 18, 2007
The selection committee picked three finalists to represent seven categories of business: export product, employment growth; industry person of the year; technological advancement/innovation - private sector; technological advancement/innovation - public sector; export service; and most promising startup. This year, the finalists in the private and public technological advancement categories are automatically entered as finalists in the Canadian Information Productivity Awards (CIPA). Twenty-one finalists have been announced for the Ninth Annual Kira Awards set for May 3. Earlier this week, Enterprise Fredericton's Kira Awards selection committee reviewed the nominees and selected the finalists. The awards selection committee is separate from the organizing committee and is comprised of representatives from the public and private sectors.
