Ambir Opens New Nova Scotia Office

Saint John, New Brunswick - October 6th, 2009

Ambir, an independent, Atlantic Canadian, values-based IT Consulting Services company, is pleased to announce the opening of its Halifax, Nova Scotia office.

“Given that we are now successfully growing a client base across Atlantic Canada, we felt that it was strategically important for us to expand our physical presence by opening a new office in Halifax, Nova Scotia” said Ian Cavanagh, CEO of Ambir. “The Halifax office not only places us in one of Atlantic Canada’s largest IT markets but given its transportation infrastructure, it also enables us to strengthen our ability to do business with the North Eastern United States enabling us to further expand our target market.”

Ambir’s new office will be led by Phil Holmes who immigrated to Halifax from the United Kingdom last fall and joined Ambir as General Manager of Nova Scotia. “I am excited to become a member of the Atlantic Canadian business community and to bring my experience in global IT, change management and leadership development to the region. This region of the world is geographically and culturally well positioned to play an important and integral role in both the Information Technology and Management Consulting sectors in the North Eastern United States and Western Europe.”
